Lincoln Theater is delighted to present A Musical Banquet: Choice Delicacies from the 17th and 18th Centuries, on January 13th. This concert offers a feast of early chamber music featuring the Napa Valley's own Violet Grgich performing with two ensembles, Les Violettes and Ensemble Vermillian. In keeping with the period, the audience will be seated on the stage with the musicians for an intimate evening that blends delightful music, delicious hors-d'oeuvres and Grgich Hill's world-famous wines. From Violet to Vermillion, this performance paints a picture of early music today that touches and engages all the senses to create a unique musical moment not to be missed.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced that writer and Chancellor's Professor of English and Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley Mark Danner and Director and Chief Curator of the University of California, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAMPFA) Lawrence Rinder will join author and playwright Daniel Handler as hosts of the upcoming Fran Lebowitz in Conversation series.

'THE AGITATORS' Is Best-Selling World Premiere in Geva History

Geva Theatre Center's production of The Agitators: The Story of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass, written by Mat Smart and directed by Logan Vaughn, was the best-selling world premiere and one of the best-selling dramas overall in the theatre's 45-year history. Over 15,000 people attended the production, crafted in Rochester, for Rochester over a four-week period with 32 public performances.

Set at the end of the summer on Martha's Vineyard, a couple of blue collar siblings from Buffalo try to reconnect with each other while caught up in the world of pink pants and new money. Metzler also writes for film and television (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, SHAMELESS), and this production is ready for prime time.

In a bizarre and unfortunate case of life imitating art, Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston found itself without its leading man only hours before the curtain going up on their season-ending production of 42nd STREET. Producing Artistic Director Robert J. Eagle announced that the understudy would step into the role and the show opened as scheduled. Rich Allegretto, headliner Rachel York, and the stellar company pulled it together to remind everyone what theater is all about.

Taking the money turns out to be much easier than finding a way out of the executive washroom. A sympathetic bank teller, a cooperative cop, and a hostage who harbors some secrets all play a part in determining a convoluted outcome.
