Listen as Javier Bardem performs as King Triton in “Impossible Child,' which was cut from the film and features music by multiple Academy Award winner Alan Menken (“Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin”) and lyrics by three-time Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Hamilton,’ “In the Heights”).

Disney+ subscribers will be able to access special bonus content from THE LITTLE MERMAID, including Oscar winner Javier Bardem as King Triton performing the song “Impossible Child” with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

To celebrate the release of the film, the cast, including Halle Bailey (Ariel), Melissa McCarthy (Ursula), Awkwafina (Scuttle) and Daveed Diggs (Sebastian) sat down for Fandango’s first ever “Big Ticket” interview.

The Magic Theatre will premiere the first live production by Playwright In Residence Star Finch and announce the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of her new play JOSEPHINE’S FEAST. This profound and potent new play is directed by legendary theatre artist Ellen Sebastian Chang.  JOSEPHINE’S FEAST will perform from August 02– August 20, 2023 at the Magic Theatre’s Fort Mason location

The 24 Hour Plays announced details for an expanded 2023 season, including the 23rd annual The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway celebrity event, which will once again play Town Hall on October 23, 2023, as well as shows in three new cities, the return of The 24 Hour Musicals in New York City, episodes of The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues and partner events in nine theaters around the world.

Barry Brisco’s Love is a Battlefield returns to the Hollywood Fringe Festival after nine years opening June 10, 2023, at the Limbic Arthouse. Barry directs his based-on-real-life script with the cast of Roy Fowler, Ian James, Johnny Manibusan, Michael C. Morello, Navene Shata, Jamarr Tillman and Arielle Thomas.
