Nyack Center will host its annual holiday festival and community gathering on Sunday, December 13, at 7PM. This year, as in years past there will be both Readings and Music in the Holiday Spirit, at this fun filled holiday extravaganza produced and hosted by Kevin Pariseau & Elliott Forrest. I first got involved with a small part in a community theatre in Medford, Oregon as a child and had the usual school plays and debate teams. I was fairly shy as a kid and my voice would rise when I was nervous, so I took a college course in the theatre department at the University of Washington to 'modulate' my voice and learn 'vocal placement;' one thing led to another till I was firmly ensconced as a drama major and began getting cast in great character roles.

After being selected as a finalist in this year's Manhattan Repertory Theater's Long One-Act competition, where is was received to overwhelmingly positive acclaim, Emma Lynn Worth has brought her original work, RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT, to the beautiful Theater at St. Clements as a part of the Strawberry Theater Festival.

After being selected as a finalist in this year's Manhattan Repertory Theater's Long One-Act competition, where is was received to overwhelmingly positive acclaim, Emma Lynn Worth has brought her original work, RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT, to the beautiful Theater at St. Clements as a part of the Strawberry Theater Festival.

Directed by Mednick and Guy Zimmerman, The Fool and The Red Queen opens tonight May 19 at the Lounge Theatre in Hollywood, where it will continue to run through June 24 as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

I Was Drunk That Day is an exploratory (staged) reading of several early crime and suspense stories by Anton Chekhov including 'Conversation of a Drunken Man with a Sober Devil', 'Evildoer', and 'The Wallet'. Assembled, adapted and directed by Darrell Larson, most of the featured stories translated into English for the first time - just last year.
