Iconic dances, magical choreography and incredible music come together as American Dance Spectacular at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, October 22 at 7pm as part of the Ridgefield Magazine Broadway and Cabaret Series. From The Charleston and Jitterbug to Disco, and Hip Hop Broadway's hottest dancers and singers backed by a live band will take you to America's flashiest dance floors all choreographed by Al Blackstone of TV's So You Think You Can Dance ! The cast includes Jennifer DiNoia (Broadway's WICKED (Elphaba), MAMMA MIA!), Vishal Vaidya (Broadway's GROUNDHOG DAY), Daniel Gaymon (Broadway's CATS), Alexa Green (Broadway's WICKED) with music direction by Bryan Perri (Broadway's Wicked ), book by Susan Batten (Lifetime TV's Showing Roots ), and created and directed by Daniel C. Levine ( Mamma Mia!, Les Miserables ). American Dance Spectacular is a show that dance fans will not want to miss! Groups of 20 or more can also participate in an exclusive Q&A with the cast before the show! Producers The Shubert Organization and The Nederlander Organization announced today that the first-ever Broadway revival of CATS will play its final performance at 8 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 W 52nd Street) after 16 previews and 593 regular performances. Preview performances of CATS began Thursday, July 14, 2016 followed by a Sunday, July 31, 2016 opening night.
