Miami New Drama has announced casting, creative team and production dates for Seven Deadly Sins: Temptation in the Magic City, an innovative, site-specific event which will be presented from November 27 through January 3 in seven vacant storefronts along Miami Beach's historic Lincoln Road. Opening night is Saturday, December 5.

The Flea Theater will extend three acclaimed productions in MAC WELLMAN: PERFECT CATASTROPHES. This festival of plays by the influential vanguard playwright Mac Wellman runs through November 1. The final two plays in the festival -- a double bill of short one-acts The Sandalwood Box and The Fez -- open on October 5; and The Art of Stacking the Deck: A Mac Wellman Symposium exploring Wellman's profound impact on the American theater runs October 4 a?" 6.

Robinson Productions and Little Shadow Productions presents All Hallows Eve, a wild, horror musical journey across the grey veil on a Halloween night, testing a sister's and brother's love against the forces of true evil, with book, lyrics and puppet design by Martin P. Visionary puppet artist Heather Henson and Grammy-Award winner Ty Defoe (Come to Me Great Mystery) bring together an ensemble of North American First Nations Peoples in this compelling production produced by IBEX Puppetry, written by Defoe (Straight White Men) with music by Kevin Tarrant (SilverCloud Singers), Grammy-nominated Dawn Avery, Grammy winner Larry Mitchell (Totemic Flute Chants) and Defoe. Ajijaak on Turtle Island, currently on tour throughout the U.S., performs at The New Victory from March 1 - 10, 2019.

Aaliyah Habeeb and Mel House will star in Christina Gorman's cyber-security romance Roan @ The Gates, directed by Michelle Tattenbaum at Luna Stage. This World Premiere features an all-female cast and female-led creative team. It starts previews January 31 and opens February 2 for a limited run through February 24.

Visionary puppet artist Heather Henson announced today IBEX Puppetry's upcoming four-city national tour of Ajijaak on Turtle Island. Co-directed by Grammy Award winner Ty Defoe and Henson, the daughter of legendary puppeteer Jim Henson, the tour launches by opening the Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival with performances January 17 through January 20, and follows with performances in Baraboo, WI at the Al. Ringling Theatre (January 24-25); FirstWorks Frontier Series in Providence, RI (January 31-February 1); and New York, NY at The New Victory Theater (March 1-10). Mason Holdings new site-specific production of Consumption, opened at the Beverly Social Club in Kensington Brooklyn last week. The play was conceived and developed by Mason Holdings Founder and Artistic Director, Tracy Weller. Consumption was written by Devin Burnam. Kristjan Thor serves as director.
