Kicking it all off is the brand-new Plaza Players Series with Tony-Nominated writer and composer Joe Iconis (Be More Chill, Love in Hate Nation) joined by Lauren Marcus (Be More Chill, Love in Hate Nation) and other special guests.

Rosie’s Theater Kids will present Passing It On, an evening of performances celebrating mentorship. Special appearances will be made by Tony Award winner and Disney Legend Lea Salonga and singer Jerusha Cavazos. The virtual event is scheduled for June 2 at 7 pm ET.

 All plays were once new plays. New York Stage and Film has committed $100,000 to their new NEXUS Initiative that brings together 20 multihyphenate artists to explore the question “where does story exist at the intersection of stage and film?” Each participant receives $5,000 and will take part in a series of conversations focused on new and expanded forms of storytelling.
