Today, Daptone Records has shared 'Hey Brother (Do Unto Others),' the A-side to their recently announced 100th 45. Available June 28, the 45 is an unprecedented collaboration of talent from their legendary roster of artists. 'Hey Brother (Do Unto Others)' features the late great monarchs of the Daptone family, Charles Bradley and Sharon Jones, as well as Saun & Starr, the Frightnrs, James Hunter, Naomi Shelton, Duke Amayo and Lee Fields, singing a message of righteousness and brotherhood over a groove sewn seamlessly together by members of The Dap-Kings and Menahan Street Band.
Charles Venn To Join Neil And Katya Jones In Their Show SOMNIUM At Sadler's Wells

British actor and 2018 Strictly star Charles Venn is to join the cast of SOMNIUM: A Dancer's Dream, the explosive dance show starring World Latin Showdance Champions and Strictly professionals Neil and Katya Jones which comes to Sadler's Wells in London for a limited season from 20 - 22 June 2019. Charles will be taking on the role of Richard Porter, Neil and Katya's former dance coach who narrates the show's story of how a boy from Britain and a girl from Russia met, fell in love and overcame the odds to become dance stars.

The world famous Troubadour in Los Angeles will host the Donny Hathaway Live Tribute this Friday March 15th at 9 p.m. An incredible group of musicians and singers will come together to perform the music featured on the classic album 'Donny Hathaway Live' which was released in 1972. Long considered one of the best live albums ever recorded, the songs are taken from a performance originally given by Donny Hathaway at the Troubadour back in 1971.

Today, Daptone Records imprint Dunham Records announced Love In The Wind, the debut album from the Sha La Das featuring harmonic sensibilities rooted in doo wop, blues and soul. The album-out September 21-was truly a family affair within both the Daptone and Schalda family. Produced by Thomas Brenneck, Love In The Wind features a number of the players that have helped define the Daptone Sound including members of The Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley and Menahan Street Band. And, at the heart of the record, there are the four Schaldas: three talented brothers and the father who taught his boys group harmonies on the stoop of their Staten Island home growing up.
