Alliance's production of Winnie-the-Pooh has extended its run due to popular demand. Based on the children's stories by A. A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh comes to life with familiar characters and charming music in this family-friendly, one-act production, June 7 - July 15, 2018, in the Rich Theatre at the Woodruff Arts Center.

Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh comes to life with familiar characters and charming music in this family-friendly, one-act production, June 7 - July 8, 2018, in the Rich Theatre at the Woodruff Arts Center.

Atlanta's nationally acclaimed Alliance Theatre is pleased to present The Jungle Book, based on the beloved book by Rudyard Kipling, as part of its Alliance Family Series. Rosemary Newcott, the Sally G. Tomlinson Artistic Director of Theatre for Youth and Families, directs this moving, family-friendly, one-act play with music. During the Alliance's season-long renovation, The Jungle Book will be staged at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts and Community Center, February 10 March 4, 2018.

A Christmas Carol, Alliance Theatre's annual holiday gift to Atlanta, returns for its 28th season, December 8 24, 2017 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. The most heartwarming story of the season comes to life with holiday carols, stunning stage magic, and your favorite Atlanta actors. Directed by Rosemary Newcott, the Sally G. Tomlinson Artistic Director of Theatre for Youth and Families, A Christmas Carol has become a tradition for many families around the southeast.

Rehearsals are underway for Alliance Theatre's upcoming production of Shakespeare in Love, based on the 1998 film that won seven Academy Awards including Best Picture. Georgia Shakespeare co-founder and Artistic Director Richard Garner is directing this love letter to William Shakespeare in his company's former home at Oglethorpe University's Conant Performing Arts Center while the Alliance Theatre undergoes a complete renovation. Performances are August 30 - September 24, 2017.  Opening night is Today, September 6.
