Baltimore's newest gang of artists, Nine Imaginary Cows Theater Collective, presents a brand-spanking-new work for the stage: There Have Been Other Men in My Wife's Bed (A Marital Arrangement for 3 Actors), running February 26 through March 7 at Theatre Project (45 West Preston Street, Baltimore). Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8pm for both weeks, with a special 7pm performance on Sunday, March 1. Ticket prices are $20 for General Admission, $15 for Seniors and Artists, and $10 for Students. Paul Simon, Labelle & B.B. King Set for Reopened BEACON THEATRE

Variety reports that following a seven-month, $15 million renovation, Gotham's Beacon Theater will reopen with a pair of Paul Simon concerts on Feb. 13 and 14.The 2,800-seat, Upper West Side showcase, which Cablevision's MSG Entertainment acquired in November 2006, originally opened in 1929. Designed by Chicago architect Walter Ahlschlager, it had been used for opera, films, vaudeville and theatrical productions. In 1979 it received landmark designation, and it has functioned primarily as a concert venue since the late 1980s.

John Mayer At Work on CBS Variety Show

Media industry website Broadcasting & Cable.com has revealed that musician John Mayer is currently at work shooting a variety show pilot for the CBS Network. CBS Network entertainment president Nina Tassler discussed the project at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Los Angeles. Tassler expressed the potential that the pilot could end up becoming a series of specials or a full series. Mayer hosted the short lived 'John Mayer Has a TV Show' which aired for a single episode on VH1 in 2004.
