The culmination of Everyman Theatre's 25th Anniversary begins this spring with the highly anticipated 'Great American Rep.' The Rep unites two iconic masterpieces and marks the first time Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman and Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire have ever been produced as a rotating rep, where one virtuosic cast featuring 8 resident company members performs multiple roles and transform night after night.

There is a kind of magic which will exorcise the problems of Blithe Spirit, and let us not notice them: This production cruises and coasts on the farcical elements and the bickering and the eccentricities of Mme. Arcati the medium, and in so doing it certainly keeps the audience laughing. But it does not dispel the sour taste lingering at the end.

Everyman Theatre has announced its 25th anniversary season. For the first time ever, the company will present a rotating repertory of two masterpieces of American theatre: Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller and A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams. Both productions will feature the same cast and performances will rotate from day to day. Known as The Great American Rep, this event will take place from April 5 through June 12, 2016.

Olney Theatre Center, a mid-Atlantic destination for professional theater performance and education, proudly announces two world premieres, two legendary musicals, a classic thriller, and a rotating rep of Gilbert & Sullivan as part of its 10-play 78th season, the company's largest. Headlining the season is Carmen: An Afro-Cuban Jazz Musical, set in the waning days of Batista's regime in Cuba, written and directed by Tony® Award-nominee Moises Kaufman (The Laramie Project Cycle) with music from two-time Grammy Award-winner Arturo O'Farrill. Previously on an annual calendar, the 78thseason standardizes the schedule, running September 2015 through August 2016.

At Round House Theatre, all that is exceedingly good about Gionfriddo's play 'on paper' is leveraged in the best way possible for this production, and made even 'better' by exceptional acting, direction, and production values. I'd even go as far to say that it's one of the best executed productions I've seen in the area in recent years.

Everyman Theatre began rehearsals today for the 2014/15 season opener, The Understudy. Theresa Rebeck's comedic look into the backstage world of show biz runs through September 28th. The three-person cast features Everyman Resident Company Members Clinton Brandhagen,Danny Gavigan and Beth Hylton. Joseph W. Ritsch makes his Everyman directorial debut with the production.
