Hamilton watches, known for their pioneering role in the worlds of aviation and cinema as well as their innovative timekeeping technology, and Los Angeles Confidential magazine, the premiere luxury, lifestyle publication in Los Angeles, host the 10th Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards on November 4, 2018 at The Exchange LA. The awards ceremony pays tribute to the brilliant behind-the-scenes talent whose individual work contributes to the quality of a motion picture and to the lasting impression that it has on movie audiences. Hamilton celebrates watch appearances in more than 450 films and television shows, most recently Amazon's “Jack Ryan”. Films and creatives to be awarded this year include screenwriter Daniel Stiepleman for “On The Basis of Sex” presented by Felicity Jones, editor Barry Alexander Brown for “BlacKklansman” presented by John David Washington, producer Graham King of “Bohemian Rhapsody” presented by Rami Malek, producer designer Hannah Beachler for “Black Panther” presented by Angela Bassett and sound editors Erik Aadahl and Ethan Van der Ryn for “A Quiet Place” presented by John Krasinski.  Tony Hale, the award-winning actor and comedian of Veep and Arrested Development, will emcee the awards presentation.

Farm Sanctuary, the organization dedicated to combating the abuses of factory farming and encouraging a new awareness and understanding about farm animals last night hosted their 2018 Gala “Farm Sanctuary On the Hudson” in New York City.     The event, hosted by Bellamy Young honored Carol Leifer, Tracye McQuirter and Dr. Kristi Funk.

Directed by Slamdance Film Festival co-founder Dan Mirvish (BETWEEN US) from a long-lost script by Oscar/Pulitzer-winning cartoonist and screenwriter Jules Feiffer (Mike Nichols' CARNAL KNOWLEDGE, Robert Altman's POPEYE) based on characters that date back to 1957, BERNARD AND HUEY is the story of roguish Huey (David Koechner, ANCHORMAN) and nebbishy Bernard (Oscar-winner Jim Rash, THE WAY WAY BACK), who are unlikely collegiate friends in late 1980s New York. Years later, a bedraggled Huey crashes at Bernard's upscale bachelor pad. As the two reconnect, Bernard falls in love with Huey's estranged daughter Zelda (Mae Whitman, GOOD GIRLS), an aspiring graphic novelist who's got a seductive new creative partner, Conrad (Eka Darville, JESSICA JONES). Huey slowly gets his mojo back and tries to seduce the various women in Bernard's life, including his off-again girlfriend Roz (Sasha Alexander, RIZZOLI & ISLES) and colleague, Mona (Nancy Travis, SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDERER), while reconnecting with his ex-wife (Bellamy Young, SCANDAL) and brother (Richard Kind, ARGO). As Bernard and Huey return to their old ways, at least one of them finds himself in danger of marrying a woman old enough to be his wife. An award-winning film that's screened at over 25 festivals in 5 continents, BERNARD AND HUEY is a particularly timely story of two men behaving badly, and the smart women who rein them in.

Broadway stars went out in style last night at Second Stage's annual gala. Among those in attendance were Billy Porter, Alice Ripley, Lindsay Mendez, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Tom Kitt, Adam Chanler-Berat, Denee Benton, David Cromer, Itamar Moses, Kellen Blair, and Joe Kinosian.

ABC's TGIT lineup once again nearly tied a “Big Bang”-led CBS for No. 1 on Thursday in Adults 18-49 (1.3/6 vs. 1.4/6), while defeating NBC by 86% (0.7/3) and Fox by 117% (0.6/2). Boasting strong delayed viewing for its Thursday dramas, ABC is projected to move ahead and win Thursday night, once Live + 7 Day Adult 18-49 ratings become available.

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts will present a special advanced screening of the Jules Feiffer-penned film BERNARD AND HUEY on Sunday, April 29th, at 2 pm. The Actors Fund - the national human services organization that fosters stability and resiliency, and provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan - announced today that the cast of ABC's SCANDAL will reunite for a one-night-only LIVE staged reading of the highly-anticipated final episode on Thursday, April 19 - the same night the series finale airs on television! All proceeds from this once in a lifetime event will benefit The Actors Fund's programs and services.

According to Variety, Vanessa Williams has joined the cast of the upcoming ABC pilot FALSE PILOTS. The new drama welcomes Williams (Sondheim on Sondheim, The Trip to Bountiful, Ugly Betty) as a season regular. The cast also includes Bellamy Young, Kosha Patel, Kapil Talwalkar, and Shelley Hennig. A star-studded host committee, Academy Awards nominees and presenters, along with some of the most powerful industry influencers came together on March 3 rd, 2018 for the 16 th annual 'Night Before' party to benefit MPTF. Funds raised during the legendary evening will be used to support MPTF in providing social services and financial assistance to the entertainment community, as well as it's renowned retirement community and innovative programs for seniors and those who care for them.
