Page 73, the acclaimed organization that develops and produces the work of early-career playwrights who have yet to receive a professional production in New York City, has named its 2023 Playwriting Fellow and announced its 2023 Interstate 73 Writing Group. Majkin Holmquist is the 20th playwright honored with the Playwriting Fellowship, the organization's most prestigious award.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced a screening of the National Theatre's vivid contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare's Henry V on Sunday, January 15, at 2 p.m. As one of Shakespeare's hugely popular histories, the story of the young King Henry V taking England into battle with France is brought to life by Game of Thrones' Kit Harrington.

Centenary Stage Company's 2022 Fringe Festival is almost over and the Fat Knight production of My Witch: The Margaret Hamilton Stories will finish its run on Sunday, October 30.

Invincible – the Musical world premieres November 30, 2022, at The Wallis (with previews beginning November 22nd). Tiffany Nichole Greene directs this reimagining of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet weaving in the catalogue of hit songs of Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo. I managed to catch Bradley Bredeweg, the book author of Invincible, between his multi-tasking of juggling multiple commitments.

Bucks County Playhouse’s production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber–Tim Rice musical “Evita” continues through October 30. The Playhouse released a montage of scenes from the production—including portions of 'Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall,” and “And the Money Kept Rolling In (And Out)”.
