Playwrights Project Hosts 39th Annual Plays By Young Writers Festival

Playwrights Project will present its 39th annual Plays by Young Writers Festival showcasing new scripts written by youth across California. This year's Festival will be presented to school groups and the public at the Salvation Army's Joan B. Kroc Theatre.

Next up at East West Players, the world premiere of On This Side of the World co-produced with FilAm ARTS and opening May 14, 2023 (with previews beginning May 11th). Noam Shapiro directs the cast of Steven-Adam Agdeppa, Zandi De Jesus, Michael C. Playwright Jeffrey Lo examines this dilemma in his new comedy-drama Dealing Dreams. On June 14 at2:30pm, the Orange County Playwrights Alliance proudly presents a staged reading of the work at Anaheim's popular Stage Door Repertory Theatre. This is the latest installment of the OCPA Studios full-length play reading series. Andy Lowe (East West Players) directs this reading; 50% of the box office proceeds from this event go to SDRT.
