Rumble Theatre is thrilled to present Tremors, our festival of emerging talent. This year's festival features a young company of 38 emerging theatre artists who will direct, design, stage manage, tech, produce, and perform in three hot contemporary Canadian plays: Selfie by Christine Quintana, Tiny Replicas by Dave Deveau, and Theory by Norman Yeung. From August 16 to 25, these three plays will be performed in different rooms of the Italian Cultural Centre. Come see one show, make it a double bill, or take in all three-and admission to all shows is Pay-What-You-Decide! You, the audience members, get to pick what to see and how much to pay-the choice is yours. And, of course, our Tremors festival lounge-complete with on-site bar-will be open every session for our audience members and artists to enjoy.

Adjusted Realists, a company devoted to telling theatrical stories about slightly unhinged worlds, in association with Weber State University, is thrilled to present THE BEYONCE, written by Eliza Bent and directed by Stephen Kaliski. Known as the musical alter-ego of actor, musician, filmmaker and photographer Adam Goldberg (and his mythical sister-twin 'Celeste'), The Goldberg Sisters have developed a prismatic blend of 60's psychadelia, 90's indie rock, and contemporary bedroom-pop aesthetic over the course of 4 albums. On his latest release, Goldberg's restless creative impulses see him constantly shifting moods and sonic textures in surprising and fascinating ways. The Catastrophic Theatre continues its 2017-2018 season with the rolling world premiere of Leap and the Net Will Appear by Chana Porter, who two-time Obie Award-winning playwright and director Craig Lucas has called 'the most original and funny and touching and interesting young playwright out there at this moment.' The production will be directed by Porter's collaborator, NYC director Tara Ahmadinejad, and features original music by composer Andrew Lynch.
