After an acclaimed run at the Walter Kerr as Polish Christian rescuer Irena Gut Opdyke in IRENA'S VOW, Broadway actress and four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh is enjoying 'An Autumn of Honors.'

Yeshiva University will honor Tovah Feldshuh by receiving an honorary doctorate degree. The presentation will take place at the 85th Annual Hanukkah Dinner and Convocation on December 13th at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Feldshuh is being honored as an 'outstanding members from the University community and beyond who have demonstrated committed leadership and dedication to education.'

Wide Eyed Productions will present a New York revival of Dale Wasserman's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at the Richmond-Shepard Theatre. Opening night is set for May 6th. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest premiered on Broadway in 1963. Revivals include an Off-Broadway production in 1971 and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company's 2001 Broadway staging starring Gary Sinise, which received a Tony Award for Best Play Revival.

Academy Award-winning actress Dame Helen Mirren will start as 'a Jewish woman whose journalist daughter falls in love with a Palestinian and is shot dead' in a developing untitled film.

Scenes from The Eternal Romeo and Juliet, a play written by University of North Texas theatre professor Andrew Harris, will debut in London on February 7th at the remains of the historic Rose Theatre, an Elizabethan playhouse where William Shakespeare is believed to have performed and his plays Henry VI Part I and Titus Andronicus were originally presented.
