THE NORMAN CONQUESTS, the 2009 Tony Award winner for Best Revival of a Play, is now in its final three weeks on Broadway. The Old Vic's critically acclaimed production of Alan Ayckbourn's comedy trilogy, directed by Matthew Warchus, ends its strictly limited engagement on Sunday, July 26 at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street).

Kevin Spacey, the artistic director of The Old Vic in London, recently produced the first London revival of Alan Ayckbourn's masterpiece, the comic trilogy, THE NORMAN CONQUESTS, directed by Matthew Warchus. The production is now playing on Broadway, where it has earned the best reviews of any play this season and was recently nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Play and Best Direction of a Play (Matthew Warchus).

Ruined, by Lynn Nottage, today won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award (NYDCC) for Best Play of the 2008-2009 season. The Best Musical award was given to Billy Elliot, music by Elton John, and book and lyrics by Lee Hall. The award for Best Foreign Play was given to Black Watch by Gregory Burke. The selections were made at the 74th annual voting meeting of the organization today at the offices of Time Out New York in Manhattan.
