Black Coffee is the first play that Agatha Christie wrote for the stage back in 1929, when the show is set. Sir Claud Amory summons the famous Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, and his trusted friend Captain Hastings to his London house to investigate who has stolen a formula from his safe. Upon arriving, Sir Claud is found dead in his library so the enquiry turns to into a murder investigation as well.

The Book of Mormon returns to Detroit on July 1st and Alexandra Ncube is thrilled to be part of the National Tour in the role of Nabulungi. Last night (11 June 2014) the hit West End musical The Bodyguard celebrated Alexandra Burke joining the cast, playing the leading role of Oscar-nominated superstar Rachel Marron. Amphibian Stage Productions today announced casting for its second staged reading of the 2014 season, Lebensraum by Israel Horovitz. Luke Longacre, Brian Mathis and Alexandra Lawrence will star in this drama, running Sunday, June 8 and Monday, June 9 at Amphibian's theater at 120 S. Main Street. Lisa Devine will direct the reading.
