BWW Review: WHITE NOISE at Studio Theatre
by Rachael F. Goldberg
- Jan 25, 2022
'White Noise' is the kind of theater that everyone hopes to experience – it grips each member of the cast and audience a bit differently, but no less fully. 'White Noise' isn’t a safe production, but it’s one that’s truly moving because of that. It’s a powerful experience, and absolutely one worth having.
BWW Review: Mary-Louise Parker Cerebrally Fascinates in Adam Rapp's Quietly Riveting THE SOUND INSIDE
by Michael Dale
- Oct 18, 2019
'Beyond her somewhat forgiving brown eyes,' the subject of Adam Rapp's subtly riveting character study, The Sound Inside says of herself, 'your narrator could be described as unremarkable. In that thorny subjective bureau of classification known as the Looks Department, if she's being brutally honest with herself, she'd say she's perhaps four or five degrees beyond mediocre, also known as 'sneakily attractive.' She is the equivalent of a collectible plate mounted to a wall.'

by Marc Savitt
- Jul 30, 2019
There is quite a lot to like about this exemplary Williamstown Theatre Festival Commission and recipient of an Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. I've discussed the play with several people who've seen it. They all enjoyed and spoke highly of the experience, but each focused on a different aspect of its many nuances and facets. You would be crazy not to go and see what it says to you if / while you can. TELL ME I'M NOT CRAZY continues only through August 3rd at Williamstown Theatre Festival's Nikos Stage.

by Joseph Harrison
- Jul 6, 2019
When the world outside is challenging, political tensions are escalating, uncertainty is in the air and pressures are building to the breaking point, what can you do? If you lived in Berlin in the early 1930's you might have found yourself escaping from the rise of Nazism by visiting an avant-garde performance at one of many cabarets in the city. If, instead, it is 2019 and you are also looking for a bit of escapism of your own, you might head to the University of Connecticut to take in the latest production in the CT Repertory Theatre's 2019 Nutmeg Summer Series, CABARET.
