Can a fictional detective solve a real-life murder case? Sherlock Holmes and the Whitechapel Fiend answers this question by having the world-famous detective attempt to solve the infamous Jack the Ripper case. Recently, we had the chance to talk to Adam Meggido, the director of this production, about what it’s been like bringing the show to life.

The Barn Theatre in Cirencester has announced the full cast and creative team of the world premiere production of Toby Hulse & Ross Smith's play Sherlock Holmes and the Whitechapel Fiend.

Written by Mischief trio Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields and directed by Adam Meggido, Peter Pan Goes Wrong brings the Cornley Polytechnic gang back to the West End, this time taking on the “traditional Christmas vignette,” definitely not a pantomime, as Director Chris Bean emphatically informs the audience.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong runs at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue until Sunday 14 January 2024 before continuing to tour the UK. Check out all new photos here!

The West Coast premiere of Mischief Theatre Ltd.’s Peter Pan Goes Wrong opens August 11, 2023, at the Ahmanson (with previews beginning August 8th). Adam Meggido directs the zany cast of Bartley Booz, Matthew Cavendish, Bianca Horn, Harry Kershaw, Chris Leask, Henry Lewis, Ellie Morris, Charlie Russell, Jonathan Sayer, Henry Shields, Greg Tannahill, and Nancy Zamit. The company is completed by Ryan Vincent Anderson, Stephen James Anthony, Fred Gray, and Brenann Stacker. Matthew was most gracious to answer a few of my queries.
