The McCarter Lab Fall Festival 2012 will feature some of the leading and emerging playwrights of the American theater from October 29 through November 4, in a series of unstaged readings and special events in celebration of the artist's work. LOVE FRANTIC Joins United Solo Fest

Natasha Waisfeld is a graduate of New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL with a BFA in Theater and is making her New York City debut with the production of her one person show titled "Love Frantic" for the United Solo Theater Festival on November 12th at 7:30PM. United Solo, the world's largest solo theater festival, presents one hundred productions this year and all shows are staged at Theatre ROW: 410 W 42nd Street, NYC. Patrick Page and More Win 2012 Princess Grace Awards

The Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) has just announced that the 30(th) Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Cipriani 42(nd) Street in New York City. The Awards ceremony will include the presentation of 25 awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film as well as Princess Grace Statue Awards to be presented to Patrick Page and Darron L West. A special honor will be presented to one of the founding Trustees, Lynn Wyatt, for her dedicated service and help in establishing the Foundation in 1982. The 30(th) Anniversary Princess Grace Awards Gala will take place in the presence of TSH The Prince and The Princess of Monaco. Legendary newswoman Paula Zahn will act as Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening. The evening will be chaired by Renee Fleming and Tim Jessell and H.R.H. Princess Firyal of Jordan. Presenting Sponsor for the Gala is Hermes; Crown Sponsor is Lily Safra. A unique live auction will feature a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Monaco for the Grand Prix and opportunities to name a Princess Grace Award. Bringing down the gavel will be Paddle8's co-founder, Alexander Gilkes.

The Lark Play Development Center named five New York City-based dramatists as Playwrights' Workshop Fellows for the 2012-13 season. The group spans a wide range of cultural backgrounds and professional experiences and will meet regularly through June to develop new plays.

American Blues Theater (ABT), Chicago's second oldest Equity ensemble, kicks off the Ensemble's 27th season with the world premiere of Illegal Use of Hands by Emmy Award-winner, two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and ABT Artistic Affiliate James Still, directed by Sandy Shinner, tonight, August 31 - September 30 at Victory Gardens' Richard Christiansen Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue. Press opening for Illegal Use of Hands is Thursday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. Tickets range from $10 - $39. Complete ticket information including ticket on-sale date and performance schedule will be announced at a later date.

Victory Gardens Theater Artistic Director Chay Yew and Executive Director Jan Kallish announce the new plays selected for the company's 2012 IGNITION Festival. The selected plays are: Seven Spots on the Sun by Martin Zimmerman; The Shotgun Message by A. Rey Pamatmat; Samsara by Lauren Yee; Appropriate by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and Dr. Ali Goes Native by Yussef El Guindi. VG Playwrights Ensemble Member Marcus Gardley will join the selected group as a Playwright-in-Residence. Gardley will spend his time researching and drafting his upcoming play Chicago is Burning.

NEW THEATRE Announces Its 26th Anniversary Season

This season's theme of 'family' is kicked off with the Bard's triumphant family history, Henry V, adapted and directed by Ronald Mangravite, running August 26 - September 11, 2011. Henry V, the final play about the reigning family crown, chronicles King Henry V's war with France over land and titles. As part of the National New Play Network's Continued Life for New Plays Fund and in conjunction with Actors Theatre of Louisville's Humana Festival in Kentucky and Actor's Express Theatre in Atlanta, New Theatre presents the rolling World Premiere of Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them by recent Yale Playwrighting graduate A. Rey Pamatmat and directed by THE NEW's Artistic Director, Ricky J. Martinez, running October 14 - 30, 2011.
