After a nearly 10 year journey with Waitress, Sara Bareilles is bringing the hit musical to movie theaters. BroadwayWorld sat down with Bareilles to discuss what she's learned throughout her journey with Waitress, the 'intimacy' of bringing the musical to theaters, her favorite Waitress memories, and more.

This week, Broadway Sings presented its first brand new concert in over two years at Sony Hall, Broadway Sings Celine Dion. The show featured a starry cast of Broadway performers belting out original arrangements of Dion’s hits, accompanied by an 11-piece orchestra. The Tribeca Film festival has announced the screening dates for the world premiere of Waitress, the Musical - Live on Broadway!, the filmed capture of the hit Broadway musical. This Sunday, April 2 – World Autism Day – the theater company will present a one-night-only, neuro-inclusive cabaret, EPIC Sings for Autism: Let's Duet. Audiences can expect a celebration of neuro-diversity in the arts community with inclusive renditions of iconic medleys, trios and duets from musicals such as Waitress and Into The Woods, as well as a Disney medley and much more.

On Sunday, April 2 - World Autism Day - the theater company will present a one-night-only, neuro-inclusive cabaret, EPIC Sings for Autism: Let's Duet.

On February 26 at 7:30pm, a bombshell cast of stars including Tony Award Winner Lena Hall (Hedwig), Brittney Johnson (Wicked), and Eleri Ward (Only Gold) will belt out new arrangements of the hits of the pop superstar Adele, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra at the beautiful Sony Hall.

Van Dean Productions will present industry presentations of GOODBYE NEW YORK: A NEW MUSICAL starring Arielle Jacobs (Disney ‘s Aladdin, Wicked, In the Heights), Brad Standley (In Transit), and Ben Jeffrey (Disney’s The Lion King and Aladdin).
