Dorset Theatre Festival, under the leadership of Artistic Director Dina Janis and Producing Director Will Rucker, will begin performances of Mrs. Christie, the second World Premiere production of the 42nd Season, on August 1, 2019. The play is written by Heidi Armbruster and has been developed in the Festival's acclaimed Women Artists Writing Group since 2016.

Just last week, Gwon previewed some of the new songs at Green Room 42, featuring  cast member Taylor Iman Jones, plus Dave Thomas Brown, Arielle Jacobs, Jessica Vosk, Bonnie Milligan, Ben Fankhauser, Deborah S. Craig, Raymond J. Lee, Sarah Lynn Marion, Destinee Rea, and Sevan Greene. Watch below as they sing 'Why I Love Football,' 'What We've Got,' and Clairvoyant.'

On Monday, July 8 (6pm) Green Room 42 will present An Evening With Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days, 'Submissions Only'). This weekend, Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, presents Message In A Bottle, a collection of original mini-musicals in concert, the culmination of Prospect's annual musical theater lab process. Message In A Bottle, the company's 13th lab production, will be presented on Saturday, June 1 at 7:30pm and Sunday, June 2 at 2:00pm at The A.R.T. / New York Theatres (502 West 53rd St, NYC). The lab will feature performances by an ensemble of Prospect alumni artists, and newcomers: Joanna Carpenter, Christopher Cherry, Diego Diaz, Ellis Gage, Alyssa Gomez, Sevan Greene, Jiho Kang, Patty Nieman, Allison Posner, Alicia Thomas, and Jeff Williams.

The Bush Theatre today announced a number of ways it will demonstrate the theatre's commitment to nurturing new writing at all levels, from emerging artists to established artists seeking to try something new. Its September production THIS PLACE WE KNOW will stage six new, specially commissioned plays by April de Angelis, Kenny Emson, Nancy Harris, Sabrina Mahfouz, Barney Norris and Gbolahan Obisesan, in various venues along on and around the Uxbridge Road in Shepherd's Bush. The New Group announced today that Ayub Khan Din has stepped into the title role in the new musical Bunty Berman Presents..., replacing actor Erick Avari who withdrew from the production last week on doctor's orders following an injury. The world premiere of this musical comedy, with book & lyrics by Ayub Khan Din and music by Ayub Khan Din and Paul Bogaev, is directed by Scott Elliott. Previews began April 12. Performances resume Wednesday, April 24 in advance of Official Opening Night on Thursday, May 9 at 7:00pm. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through June 1 at The New Group at Theatre Row (The Acorn Theatre / 410 West 42nd Street).

Preview performances of Bunty Berman Presents... will not take place Friday, April 19, Saturday, April 20 and Monday, April 22 at The New Group. Actor Erick Avari sustained an injury from a fall during a rehearsal earlier this week, and as a result, has withdrawn from the show on doctor's orders.

Brooke Ciardelli will direct a reading at The Public Theater, NY of a modernized, Arabic-American-Muslim- production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, almost fifty years after the first production premiered on Broadway.

A staged reading of Jean Genet's THE SCREENS will be held on Monday March 26, 7:30pm at the Red Bull Theater. Directed by Tracy Cameron Francis and translated by Paul Schmidt, it is an epic exploration of the Algerian Arab revolt against their French colonizers which exalts the individual and relishes the theatrical.
