Sammy Lopez is a New York City-based producer and director.
He is the Producing Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Diverging Elements Theatre Co., a non-profit dedicated to creating theatre experiences for young audiences that spark thought, stimulate discussion, and initiate change. Under his direction, they have developed new shows at Barnes and Noble, Strand Book Store, Book Culture, The Children's Museum of Manhattan, and JCC Manhattan.
He is the Associate Producer for the new musical, Bandstand, on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. He is a graduate of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University.
