Raise The Roof

Players Circle Theater is ready to raise the roof with their largest production to date, GODSPELL, running April 16th – May 12th, 2024. 

A benefit to raise funds to replace the roof of Community Post 46 and for Veterans National Entertainment Workshop (VNEW) to continue providing no-cost music workshops and free musical instruments to Active Duty, Veterans and their families. Open to the public.

The Hot Sardines bring pure entertainment with their polish and panache to Birdland with two shows a night through March 9. Their jazz is hot, but there’s nothing 'fishy' about the authentic sound they spin.  Their music is fun and accessible, sly, and frisky. 

In December 2023, playwright Victor I. Cazares went to social media to explain that they would stop taking their HIV medication until off Broadway theatre institution New York Theatre Workshop, where they began working in 2020 as the Tow playwright in residence, publicly calls for a cease-fire in Gaza. The theatre has just issued a response to their demands.

Comedy legend Robert Klein brings his unparalleled wit and humor to the Schoolhouse Theater for a special benefit performance.

Underbelly has announced that Ukrainian Hoola Hoop artist and founding member of La Clique, Yuliia Pykhtina will return to the show this Christmas and join the cast in London for the first time ever.

Underbelly has anounced the initial cast for the return of the Olivier award-winning, ground-breaking cabaret, La Clique to the West End.

Chicago Human Rhythm Project's 33nd Annual International Festival of American Tap presents performances, education programs and CHRP's annual Gala 'Jubalee' at five venues around Chicago featuring generations of celebrated artists from around the globe directed by CHRP Artistic Director, Jumaane Taylor.
