Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International has just announced the acquisition of the hit musical, Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations.

Following the story of The “Classic Five” Temptations, this 2017 musical brings to life the powerhouse group that we all know, love, and recognize. From their origination in Detroit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we are taken through how they each met, their personal afflictions and everything in between that tore the group apart.

Classic Motown music and a riveting story make for a great evening of entertainment.

Motown legends The Temptations and The Four Tops will perform at the McCoy Center for the Arts on June 11. The Kimmel Cultural Campus and The Shubert Organization will present the first national tour of Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations for the first time in Philadelphia. The Broadway smash hit musical will play at the Campus' Academy of Music January 3 - 21 as part of the 2023-24 Broadway series.
