A native New Yorker, born and raised in Harlem made his Broadway debut as the swing in the ill fated, The First. He never made it on stage. The director, Martin Charnin told the cast as they were closing "If they were lucky, they would get to walk around the block again". It would take him almost 30 years to "walk around the block" again. He made his official Broadway debut as the King of Cartoons in THE PEEWEE HERMAN SHOW. Other Broadway credits include, SISTER ACT, GHOST, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF and ACT ONE.Off Broadway credits include MARCH OF THE FALSETTOS, FORBIDDEN HOLLYWOOD, THE LIQUID PLAIN, SHOWS FOR DAYS, SONDHEIM'S SATURDAY NIGHT and THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM. Other NY credits include being featured in AMERICA at RADIO CITY. Regionally, he has performed at The McCarter, GeVa, Berkshire Theater Festival, Karamu, The Old Globe, San Diego Rep, La Jolla Playhouse. His Los Angeles credits include the original LA cast of CATS, ALL NIGHT STRUT, FORBIDDEN HOLLYWOOD and I LOVE YOU...NOW CHANGE. Other LA theaters include the Mark Taper Forum, Ahmanson, The Geffen, LATC, Will Geer Theatricum, Hollywood Bowl, Musical Theater West, Moonlight Amphitheater, South Bay, Cabrillo, Fullerton CLO, Sacramento Music Circus. He has toured 44 states, Asia and Africa in THE ALL NIGHT STRUT!!!, I LOVE YOU,YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE AND FORBIDDEN HOLLYWOOD. He spent 7 1/2 years performing Jafar in Disney Aladdin: a Musical Spectacular at California Adventure. ON television, he has appeared on SCARECROW AND MRS. KING, DALLAS, KNOTS LANDING, MY TWO DADS, ZOEY 101, STRONG MEDICINE, WILL AND GRACE, NUMB3RS, WHITE COLLAR, LAW AND ORDER:SVU etc. Film credits include THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU, THE HUMBLING, FAN GIRL, I AM MICHAEL and the HBO miniseries, SHOW ME A HERO and PEEWEE HERMAN on HBO.
