Orchestra Lumos has shared the details of its 2023/24 season, a year after the announcement of the Connecticut ensemble's rebranding from Stamford Symphony.

LA Theatre Week, a two-week-long celebration of the performing arts, will be happening from March 13 to 26. With tickets to more than 75 productions starting at just $20, beginning on February 27th, audiences will be able to experience high-caliber shows at prices that democratize access to the best of LA culture.

Live with Rye & Friends on Broadway will continue its one-year celebration on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Triad Theatre at 8:00 pm. Joining the continuing anniversary show as special guests are musical theater singing sensation Robert Bannon and American Idol Season 19 Top 10 finalist Alyssa Wray.

For more than 40 years, Robert Klein has had an acclaimed career in comedy, on Broadway, on television and in film.

The popular Broadway talk show Live with Rye & Friends on Broadway will celebrate its one-year anniversary with two celebratory shows on Monday, September 26 and October 17 at 9:30 pm at the Triad Theater.

NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council) will host its fifth fundraising event, “Night of Comedy”, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Cipriani South Street, Casa Cipriani in New York. The evening will pay special tribute to NRDC Honorary Trustee and Night of Comedy Founder, Anna Scott Carter, for her tremendous service on behalf of NRDC and its mission.  

Rye Entertainment and JES Theatrical will present The Parts I Keep Inside: A New Musical on Saturday July 9th and Monday July 11th, 2022 at 7:00pm at THE TRIAD THEATER.

Musical theater composer Scott Evan Davis will have a Triad Takeover on May 21st with original songs and a few musical friends.

New York Composers Circle will present A Concert of New Music for Voice and Instruments on Thursday, April 21 @ 7:00 PM at Manhattan's Church of the Transfiguration ('Little Church Around the Corner'), 1 East 29th Street in Manhattan.

This Spotlight focuses on Award-winning comedian, actress, television, radio host and bestselling author Carla Collins, who is on a mission to help everyone laugh and relax at a time when we so desperately need it. Join her on Wednesday, June 24 at 6pm PST/9pm EST, Carla will be hosting the World Premiere of SHELTER AT 'OM: Comedic Meditation, a unique 30-minute experience of hilarious stand-up comedy to fire up your endorphins followed by a relaxing, authentic guided meditation. Her premiere event will be live-streamed around the world from Los Angeles' popular Whitefire Theatre, and 50% of the proceeds will go toward supporting the 40-year-old venue, which has suffered heavily during the pandemic.

While Robin Williams started performing stand-up comedy in the mid-'70s, most of America first fell in love with him as the naïve and hilarious alien from the planet Ork in Mork & Mindy. He became an instant superstar and went on to do five HBO stand-up specials and dozens of feature films. Robin performed steadily for nearly four decades-from comedy clubs to stadiums, from talk shows to USO tours-and continually amazed audiences with his frenetic energy and unbelievably quick wit.

Netflix Is A Joke, Netflix's comedy brand, is throwing a week-long comedy festival, Netflix Is A Joke Fest. Produced by Netflix in association with Live Nation, the star-studded celebration of comedy will take over Los Angeles April 27th - May 3rd and feature live stand-up shows, special events and activations with Netflix comedians and artists from around the world. Featured Netflix talent include Ali Wong, Amy Schumer, Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, David Letterman, Jamie Foxx, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, Kevin Hart, Martin Lawrence, Sebastian Maniscalco, the cast of Schitt's Creek and more. The fest will also include STAND OUT: An LGBTQ+ Celebration  with headliners Alan Carr, Hannah Gadsby, Margaret Cho, Rosie O'Donnell, Sandra Bernhard, Wanda Sykes and more.

Ingenious costume designer, Juul Haalmeyer, will be the 2020 recipient of The Nobis Industry Icon Award.

Union City Chamber Players returns to Hudson County with a program of Viennese masterworks by Mozart and Beethoven featuring Mozart's beloved Clarinet Quintet.

The Triad Theater, Off-Broadway Theatre, presents Queen Diva in "Strength of a Woman: A Phyllis Hyman Tribute 70th Birthday Celebration" on Saturday, July 6, 2019. The 120 minute tribute celebration begins with Phyllis Hyman's Disco Hit produced by New York's Own James Mtume 'You Know How To Love Me,' to Duke Ellington's "Sophisticated Ladies Medley-Sophisticated Ladies, A Train, It Don't Mean A Thing, In A Sentimental Mood" to her pivotal vocal performance in Brooklyn's own Spike Lee's "School Daze" singing "Be One"  to her recording career beginning with Veteran Producer Norman Connors singing "Betcha By Golly Wow" to  her favorite songs "What You Won't Do For Love," to "Old Friend" a song she would dedicate to her numerous dear friends who died of AIDS in the late 1980's and early 1990's.

Bay Street Theater is pleased to continue adding to the Comedy Club line up for this summer. The two all new shows just added are Robert Klein on Saturday, June 22, and Colin Quinn on Saturday, July 27. Tickets for both shows go on sale to the public on April 5.
