Danielle Tarento has brought together more than 150 Black and Black mixed race actors from the UK and the US, along with a 38-piece orchestra, to record a??Make Them Hear You,a?? from the Broadway musical Ragtime.

 Two Worlds Entertainment, LLC., a twenty first century think-tank committed to provide the local community with theater based educational initiatives, will host a second edition of  Casted: The Audition Workshop with Award winning Broadway artists and directors on Sunday October 27th for all high-school aged students in the area. 

Third Annual Broadway Debut episode with Becca Lee (The Prom), Eric Anthony Johnson (Beetlejuice) and Katerina Papacostas (Tootsie). All three of the guest were at a turning point in their lives and careers when Broadway came knocking. They talk about enjoying the journey, because it may take longer than you think, and that one's self worth is not only abut the audition room. With a Broadway debut in three original casts this season, many bucket list boxes were checked, but it was becoming part of the Broadway community that has been most fulfilling. If there is an obstacle in your way and you still choose to do it, it makes it that much more fulfilling.

Broadway in Bryant Park returns this summer for its 20th year! 106.7 LITE FM's popular series will bring the best of Broadway and Off-Broadway together for FREE performances, for six consecutive weeks, continuing this Thursday, August 1 to Thursday, August 15. New Yorkers and visitors to the Big Apple are invited to come at 11 a.m. every Thursday, beginning July 11 through August 15, with performances running from 12:30 p.m. EST - 1:30 p.m. EST on the Bryant Park Stage.

BroadwayWorld has learned that The Prom will have its last dance on Broadway August 11th. Upon its final performance, THE PROM will have played 23 preview and 310 regular performances.

The party's over... The American Theatre Wing's 73rd Annual Tony Awards, hosted by James Corden, aired live from Radio City Music Hall last night, honoring theatre professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway and wrapping up the 2018-19 awards season.

Showcasing the diverse, inclusive, and vibrant message of The Prom, the cast perform a medley of 'Tonight Belongs to You / It's Time To Dance' from the musical.
