First-class Dominican violinist, Aisha Syed, makes her New York City debut at Carnegie Hall in a concert presented by the Dominican Heritage and Culture Society in commemoration of the 174th Anniversary of Dominican Independence. The young violinist, who has been hailed as “full of power and virtuosic devotion,” will perform a wide range of works from Bach and Paganini to Ravel and Sarasate. The performance is one of the first in her Golden Land World Tour which takes her to 14 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Syed will perform on a 1690 Stradivarius violin generously provided by Florian Leonhard Fine Violins and will be accompanied by Martin Labazevitch. Program: FALLA "Danse espagnole" from La vida breve
