Lebanese-French-American Violist Noémie Chemali releases her debut album, Opus 961, under the label Dreyer-Gaido. This album launch event is animmersive concert experience which will feature performances of works for solo viola and chamber music by Lebanese composers Layale Chaker, Saad Haddad, Wajdi Abou Diab, Sami Seif, and will feature Noémie's new string trio. She is joined by a roster of exceptional guest artists. The event concludes with a post-concert reception. An ode to Lebanon, 961 nods to the country’s telephone code and celebrates the resilience of the people of Beirut after the 2020 seaport explosion. 100% of ticket sales will go to Médecins sans Frontières/Doctors without Borders who were active in providing humanitarian support after the explosion in Lebanon and continue to bring medical aid to conflict zones around the world.
