A theater company primarily known for putting up musical parodies of popular movies takes on the scariest film of all time, the Exorcist. We join the company for the first staged reading of the original musical. Since there’s an instant conflict of personalities and creative priorities within the company, they decide to do an “experimental version” of the parody, but throughout the reading, cast mates become offended and technical issues ensue. Leaping forward in time to the opening night of the newly titled musical YOUR MOTHER SUCKS COCKS IN HELL, we see certain compromises to the material have been made, further technical issues interrupt, and the leading lady (Emma) playing Megan behaves more and more erratically, pausing the show to call two cast members out for hooking up behind the scenes – which she could not have possibly known. Their premier culminates in the seemingly possessed Emma killing the writer/actor on stage. Emma is arrested and committed. In act two, we join the cast for their Broadway debut of the now titled EXORCISTIC. During their intermission they dismiss the glaring obviousness that their show is cursed or that they are being opportunistic for riding the publicity of their writer’s murder. They replaced Emma with a big Broadway star, but all bets are off when the possessed Emma shows back up, having broken out of the mental hospital, and demands that they give her a real “rock ‘n’ roll exorcism“ making the exorcism from the movie serve as a real exorcism for the actress. The exorcism works, freeing Emma of her possession, bringing home their Broadway premier successfully… That is until everyone other than Emma starts to show symptoms of possession and they consume her.
