“Duty Free Live! Unauthorized Imported Game Shows!” is a comedy show bringing international game show formats to (unauthorized) life by New York’s best comedians. Led by Kent Morita, Grant Mulitz, and Christopher Morucci the show will be an unauthorized localized production of segments from two smash-hit international game shows, “This is the Law” and “Ching Roi Ching Lan”, from Canada and Thailand respectively. “This is the Law” is a hilarious classic Canadian panel show which aired on CBC in the early 70’s that presented comedic vignettes where a real obscure, and often archaic, law was broken and comedian panelists had to do their best to decipher what illegal action occurred. “Ching Roi Ching Lan” is a Thai comedy variety show hosted by the legendary Punta Nirunkul, Mayura Tanabut, and the comedy trio, Gang 3 Cha. Over thirty years, this whimsical show has entertained Thailand offering a variety of segments including, team-based games, sketch comedy, and magic tricks. Our Players: Marina di Marzo (America’s Next Top Glow Up Runway Project), Sydney Duncan (Comedy Central, Vulture, ACAB), Michael Sankey (Make The Cut, Spell Checc), David Fried (BoogieManja, Toronto Sketch Fest), Mark Vigeant (Internet Explorers, Aggressively Alive), Ann Chun (Asian AF, Asian Comedy Festival, Asian Divorce), Jerry Burgos (BoogieManja), Sonia Nam (The Armory)
