Austin Rivers is thrilled to announce his much anticipated NYC cabaret debut in Austin Rivers: Chase the Rainbow, a benefit for Knit the Rainbow, Inc. Knit the Rainbow (KtR) is a non-profit organization founded by Austin, whose mission is to collect handmade knit and crochet winter garments from around the country and distribute them to homeless LGBTQ+ youth living in New York City.100% of the proceeds from this cabaret will be donated to KtR. Austin has been a professional musical theater performer and concert singer, gracing stages around the country and the world with his powerful vocal skills and energetic performances for the past 10 years. Austin Rivers: Chase the Rainbow will take you on a journey through the LGBTQ+ Pride Flag. Artist Gilbert Baker designed the Pride Flag in 1978 and assigned a meaning for each of the 6 colors: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Violet. Join Austin and his band at Dont Tell Mama NYC on November 14th at 7pm for a musical interpretation of the Flag including songs from Stephen Sondheim, Pasek & Paul, Beyonc, Shania Twain, Marvin Gaye, and more!
