RWS Entertainment Group will be holding a combined open call in which Binder Casting and RWS Casting will partner for the first time at RWS Studios. Performers will have the unique opportunity to be seen by three casting teams (Binder Casting Theatrical and Commercial divisions as well as RWS Casting) for consideration on upcoming projects throughout 2019.
Seeking: Union and Non-Union Male and Female Singers and Actors, over the age of 18, for a wide array of projects including commercials, Broadway, national and international touring, cruise ships, theme parks, and corporate events and industrials:
Binder Casting (Theatrical Division): Disney’s The Lion King (Broadway and touring); Xanadu national tour (non-union); Shout! National tour (non-union); upcoming seasons of City Center Encores, Serenbe Playhouse, Alley Theatre, Marriott Lincolnshire, and ACT of Connecticut
Binder Casting (Commercial Division): Union and Non-Union, national and international commercials and print
RWS Casting: Postmodern Jukebox on Deck touring companies, Holland America Line production shows, Azamara Club Cruises production shows, Europa-Park, Hersheypark summer resident shows, over 20 Theme Parks nationwide, as well as other corporate and branded live events worldwide
Open Call will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10am (sign-in starts at 9am) at RWS Studios, 37-12 35th Street, Long Island City, Queens, NYC.
You will have 90 seconds to show the panel any combination of the following:
-A brief song of your choice
-A monologue of your choice
-A reading of commercial copy provided onsite
Bring headshot and resume stapled together. If you are singing, bring sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist will be provided. You may be called back to move in the afternoon; bring dance clothes/shoes.
