Known for delivering a "blow-you-away performance," (NY Times) Tony and Drama Desk Lorna Courtney (& Juliet) makes her Holmdel debut on Saturday, February 22nd! Celebrating Black History Month, join us at the Barn for an intimate evening of never-before-heard stories, great conversation, and a collection of songs from multiple genres, including jazz, musical theatre, and pop. LORNA COURTNEY (she/her) originated and starred as "Juliet" in the hit 9 Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical & Juliet, earning a Tony nomination, a Clive Barnes Award for Theatre, and nominations for a Drama League Award, a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award, BroadwayWorld's Theater Fans' Choice Award, and a Dora Award.
A multidisciplinary artist and a native New Yorker from Queens, additional Broadway credits include Dear Evan Hansen and the 2020 revival of West Side Story. TV credits: “The Equalizer” opposite Queen Latifah. Lorna holds a BFA from the University of Michigan and graduated from NYC's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Voice.
