Third Annual WINTER SHOWCASE On Tap Today at KST Studio of Voice

KST Studio of Voice - the creative brainchild of acclaimed concert, opera and musical theater soprano Katherine Sandoval Taylor - will host its annual Winter Showcase this Saturday night, February 9, at 7 p.m. at Washington Theatre at Murfreesboro's Patterson Park.

The third annual KST Studio of Voice Winter Showcase is described as a collection of "of show-stopping musical theatre numbers, starring the students of the KST Studio of Voice" and featuring duets, trios, small and large ensemble numbers, with songs from Dear Evan Hansen, Chicago, The Greatest Showman, Newsies, Tarzan, Godspell, Annie Get Your Gun and Hamilton, along with several original arrangements of well-known songs musical theatre audiences will recognize... and more!

"Throughout my performance career, I have had the honor and privilege of working with some of the top vocal and theatrical instructors in the business, in keeping with that tradition of excellence, my goal for the KST Studio of Voice is to provide students with the highest level of vocal instruction, collaborate with some of my most gifted and talented contemporaries, and give students unique and exciting performing opportunities," Taylor says.

Starring in the winter showcase, under the musical direction of Hailey Anthum Hunter, are Erin Seifert, Eli Hood, Ava Jolley, Rachel Hortert, Sophie Stanley, James Bessant, Callum Ammons, Abby Jackson, Olivia Hollandsworth, Sydney Hurt, Emma Wayne, RaeLynn Dennis, Chloee Brill, Diana Mosley, Gracie Lynch, Sarah Gwen Arnold, Katie Ledford, Caleb Comer, Kenedi Chriske, Kailee Anthony, Emily Walker, Reagan Fitzwater, Sarah Tuverson and Lana Palmer.

"Beauty. Power. Emotion. Joy. Simple words, but words with very deep meaning," Taylor contends. "Not only the mantra and four pillars of the KST Studio of Voice, this is the common thread shared by all great singers. Every day, students of the KST Studio of Voice achieve their own greatness through the pursuit and embodiment of these four simple words. There is no better time to witness Beauty, Power, Emotion, and Joy than the Winter Showcase, where KST Studio of Voice students put their greatness on display."
