American Family Theater's award-winning production of Wizard of Oz has thrilled audiences of all ages nationwide with spectacle, song and special effects. Come on a magical journey that recreates the famous literary story about a land of munchkins, magic and mayhem with Dorothy and friends. Follow the yellow brick road over the rainbow with the Tinman, Scarecrow, Lion, and of course, the Wizard himself. Meet old friends and new in this wonderful, fun-filled musical. Beware of the lions and tigers and bears -- oh my!
The Family Fun experience begins pre-show with free arts and crafts activities provided by Young At Art Museum and face painting by Curly Sue and friends. After the show, the entire family can enjoy complimentary snacks from Whole Foods. Part of the Family Fun Series. Presented at the Miramar Cultural Center.
