MAMMA MIA! to Open Season at Theatre Memphis

As Theatre Memphis looks toward celebrating its 99th season of consecutively performing for the community, the 2019 season will begin with the energetic juke box musical Mamma Mia!, running August 16 - September 8, 2019. Set on a Greek island and to the music of the international pop group ABBA, a young girl plans her wedding while trying to discover who of three men may be her father ... all to the distress and ultimate joy of her mother.

Auditions for Mamma Mia! will be held March 23 and 24, 2019, with callbacks on March 25. Scripts will be available for check out from the box office during normal working hours, staring March 4. All shows perform at 7:30pm on Thursdays, 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays with matinees on Sundays at 2pm, unless otherwise designated. Single tickets are not currently on sale but will be available approximately a month prior to opening. Single ticket prices for adults are $35 for musicals and $15 for students. There is a $5 discount on full price adult tickets for military personnel and seniors 62 and older. Season Memberships will be available beginning March 8, 2019, for $145 for six tickets that may be applied to any show in the season, with some restrictions.
