Drawing from children's classics such as "Alice in Wonderland" "The Little Mermaid" and "Peter Pan," "B-The Underwater Bubble Show" explores the wonderous underwater world of Bubblelandia where you can linger, marvel.

Using a balanced blend of drama, mime, puppetry, dance, contortionism, sand art, juggling and the wizardry of soap bubbles, you'll travel with our protagonist Mr. B as he escapes the stresses of the everyday world of gadgets to dive into an under-the-sea fairytale world. There you'll meet an ocean menagerie of seahorses, starfish, clown fish and mermaids frolicking in Mr. B's imagination as you, too, reconnect with your inner child, to ride a wave of joy.

Inspired by the brilliant Cirque du Soleil, the show is rich in dazzling stage effects such as lasers, snow cannons, soap bubble tornadoes, fog, smoke rings and optical illusions to enhance the audience experience.

The show's visual impact is supported and enhanced by original music by Valdis Zilveris, a famed Latvian stage composer.

B-The Underwater Bubble Show will be performed Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the Overture Center Ticket Office (201 State Street), by phone (608.258.4141) or online (overture.org). Groups of 10+ may be eligible for discounted tickets; for information, please call 608.258.4159. This show is appropriate for everyone.
