Mandalay Bay's 2019 Concerts on the Beach Series Adds Three Performances

Some of the most renowned acts in reggae will make their way to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino's 2019 Concerts on the Beach Series sponsored by MillerCoors and Pepsi. Ziggy Marley and Michael Franti & Spearhead take the stage Saturday, June 15 at 9 p.m., Iration with Pepper and Katastro will entertain beachgoers Saturday, Aug. 24 at 8:30 p.m. and Rebelution with Collie Buddz mark the end of August with a special two-day performance Friday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Aug. 31 at 7:30 p.m.

The Mandalay Bay Beach stage, which rises over the Four Diamond resort's sand and surf wave pool, has hosted entertainment's biggest names as part of the iconic summer series. Concert-goers are invited to enjoy musical performances that perfectly complement the warm season as they sip on cocktails, sink their toes in the sand and wade in the water at Mandalay Bay's guest-favorite wave pool.

For the third consecutive year Mandalay Bay's Concerts on the Beach series will offer The Beachfront Experience. This premier experience will grant guests access to an exclusive area on the Beach as well as lounge chair seating, cocktail service, a private bar and premium show-viewing. Guests also will receive expedited entry into the venue.

Ziggy Marley and Michael Franti & Spearhead

A multi-GRAMMY Award-winning artist, Emmy winner, author, philanthropist, and reggae icon, Marley has released 13 albums to much critical acclaim. Iration with Pepper and Katastro

Reggae-influenced alternative rock band Iration is coming to Mandalay Bay Beach with its Live From Paradise! tour this spring and summer with special guests Pepper and Katastro along for the ride. Hawaiian-bred, California-based Iration (Micah Pueschel - lead vocals/guitar, Adam Taylor - bass, Joe Dickens - drums, Cayson Peterson - keyboards, Micah Brown - guitar/vocals plus touring member Drake Peterson - trumpet) continues to tour behind its latest self-titled album, released May 2018 via its Three Prong Records.

Rebelution with Protoje, DJ Mackle and Collie Buddz

Drawing inspiration from soul, rhythm and blues and folk, Rebelution released its sixth studio album Free Rein in 2018. The popular album peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Reggae Album chart and No. 5 on the iTunes Top Albums chart. Featuring singer/guitarist/lyricist Eric Rachmany, keyboardist Rory Carey, drummer Wesley Finley, and bassist Marley D. Williams, Rebelution is poised to continue spreading the joy and good vibes to its fans.
