Ken Davenport, Sierra Boggess and More to Appear at PROMOTE U! Conference

Tony Award-winning Producer Ken Davenport (Once On This Island) has announced a new industry conference for theatre professionals called Promote U! The Marketing and Productivity Conference for Theatre Makers, which will be held on Friday, May 17th at Signature Theatre's The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre.

The initial speaker line-up includes Tony Award-Winner Ken Davenport, Tony Award-Winner and social media influencer Tyler Mount, Olivier-nominated actress Sierra Boggess (The Phantom of the Opera), and digital strategist Tony Howell, with more to be announced.

Held at Signature Theatre's The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, this 1-day event aims to provide theatre professionals of all backgrounds with cutting-edge information on branding, marketing and how to better promote themselves and their work. The event will offer a series of presentations on topics ranging from how to use social media to build your brand to creating websites that tell (and sell) your story.

The event will also include a 2-hour open-bar networking reception immediately following the final presentation.

Ken Davenport says, "It's about getting in a room with similar, like-minded, passionate people. And, when people who are super passionate get in one room, meet each other, and listen to experts . . . it explodes with action as a result."

Additionally, all participants will be enrolled in a 3-month follow-up online coaching and accountability program to help them action all of the insights they glean from the conference. The program includes group coaching calls with each speaker, an online course module that deep-dives into specific subjects from each speaker, as well as access to a private Facebook group that allows them to connect with other attendees.
