Drama School Mumbai Announces Admissions For Next Year's Post Graduate Course In Acting & Theatre Making

Drama School Mumbai has announced the admissions for the next year's Post Graduate Course in Acting & Theatre Making. The course is an ideal platform for overall training as an actor and a theatre maker.

The three pillars of the course are Acting, Theatre Making and Entrepreneurship. The course is divided in two parts - a first part for 9 months that with a focus on performance/actor training and theatre making. The second part of the course is over three months and focuses on theatre making and entrepreneurship.

During the last three months, the students are a part of a full length theatre production, directed by a professional director and led by a production team.

In the past, productions have included Taledanda (Girish Karnad - India), Yerma (Lorca - Spain), Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare - UK), The Resistible Rise of Arturo Uri (Bertolt Brecht - Germany) and Tartuffe (Molière - France). Productions have been directed by Sunil Shanbag, Mahesh Dattani, Tushar Pandey, Daniel Goldman, Anirudh Khutwad, Ben Samuels and Puja Sarup and Sheena Khalid.

Last date for applications : 30th of April 2019.

The screening process for the applicants runs in three parts and consists of two individual interviews/auditions and a group workshop.
