Berlin Musicals Presents SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD April 2019!

Berlin Musicals, a brand new musical theater collective based in Berlin, Germany is proud to present its debut production, Songs For A New World with music and Lyrics by Jason Robert Brown with performances in April 2019.

Founded in January 2019 by Artistic Director Keith Fernandez, Berlin Musicals was created to provide performers in Germany with unique and exciting professional musical theater opportunities in a very saturated and competitive market. We aim to create creative performances that will challenge the way people perceive musical theater and prove that there is a lot of exciting young and up and coming talent in Germany that deserve a stage.

Our debut performance Songs For A New World, according to composer Jason Robert Brown is "about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn around and go back." With a rousing score that blends elements of pop, gospel and jazz, featuring tight harmonies and darling vocals, Songs for a New World promises to transport its audiences to many different worlds and experiences. A small but powerful diverse cast and a supercharged, well crafted score appeal to old and new generations alike as each character in their own way, takes hold of that one moment and enters a new world.
