TheatreZone announces that its inaugural AllStars of TheatreZone fundraiser on Jan. 25 starring Tony Award-winner Rupert Holmes raised $80,000 for the non-profit performing arts organization. Ralph and Billie Hazelbaker were presented with the first AllStars of TheatreZone Award for their long-time support or the organization.

"Co-chairs Joni Brickley and Sarann Kraushaar plus our entire events committee planned such a fun and interactive reception prior to the show," said Artistic Director Mark Danni. "Guests came ready to be entertained by Rupert Holmes and TheatreZone Fan Favorites, and many told us it was the best production they'd ever seen us present."

Event proceeds help TheatreZone bring professional actors, musicians and designers to Naples from across the country, as they need transportation, housing and other expenses paid.

"Each fall, more than 200 Equity actors come to Naples for auditions," Danni explains. "This season, we hired several veterans of Broadway and Vegas shows. Having the funds to hire these incredibly talented performers and industry professionals helps us give audiences what we call 'Broadway in Naples' for them to enjoy."

TheatreZone's current season continues with On a Clear Day You Can See Forever on March 7 through 17, And the World Goes 'Round on April 25 through May 5, and Broadway & Happy Hour afternoon cabarets on March 14 and May 2.

TheatreZone announces its 2019-2020 show line-up on March 4. It will be the theatre's 15th season.

"We like to present a blend of a traditional show, a favorite from the past seasons, and a show or two that people may not have seen before," says Mark Danni, Artistic Director. "This gives our subscribers and ticket buyers variety and exposure to new things. We believe it is our job to introduce lesser known works to new audiences."

Tickets to new subscribers will be available March 25. Tickets for individual shows will go on sale April 1.

Shows are presented on Thursdays through Sundays at 7:30 p.m., with weekend matinees at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets may be purchased at www.theatre.zone or by calling the box office at 888-966-3352 x1.
