Oak Grove Theatre Arts Presents Legally Blonde

The fish out of water story of Elle Woods who finds a way to get in to Harvard Law School to follow the man she loves. This fun musical is a great story with catchy tunes, great costumes and even a few dogs. Director Scott Brusven assembled a good cast to tell this story and I think audiences will enjoy.

Isabelle Kraemer as Elle Woods was wonderful. She has stage presence and a great voice and really shines on "Serious", "Chips on my shoulder", "So Much Better" and "Legally Blonde". Looking forward to seeing her on stage more in the future.

Mickey Porter was a great casting choice as Emmett Forrest. Mickey and Isabelle worked great together on stage and had some very good scenes together. I loved his singing on "Chip on my shoulder", "Take it like a man" and "Legally Blonde".

Kallan McSparron as Paulette Buonofuonte was another favorite. As the hairdresser and confidant she and Isabelle had some very good scenes together. Her Solo on "Ireland" was a standout in the show.

Some more characters that had some great moments on stage.

Jack Nichol as Warner, the man Elle follows to Harvard, had some funny scenes and had a nice solo on "Serious". I also really enjoyed Elena Linster as Vivienne and her solo on "Legally Blonde Remix". Austin Widmer as Professor Callahan on "Blood in the Water" was a fun song. Maia Ruhland as Brooke Wyndham got to lead everyone in a fun exercise routine on "Whipped into Shape".

Lauren Hoffmannn, Sophie Nichol and Grace Henderson as Serena, Margot and Pilar were is so many important scenes. As Elle's best friends, sorority sisters and visions to help her make the right decisions these girls got to take the stage on some great numbers like "Omigosh you guys" and "Daughter of Delta NU".

The whole cast did a wonderful job!

Many very talented kids in this production. I do hope many of them do some summer theatre this year.

You still have many chances to see this show!
