Broadway Grand Rapids Announces 2019-20 Season - HAMILTON, THE LION KING, and More!

The Broadway Grand Rapids 2019-20 season will include some of the biggest blockbusters on Broadway, including a three-week run of HAMILTON.
In addition to HAMILTON, Disney's THE LION KING will debut in Grand Rapids with a two-week engagement. The classic story, with extraordinary visuals and an award-winning score is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.
Also included in the subscription package is FIDDLER ON THE ROOF which tells the timeless story of family and tradition. Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY will take the stage in March and sweep you away into the magical world of Willy Wonka. The last show for the 2019-20 season, Jimmy Buffet's ESCAPE TO MARGARITAVILLE, will bring you unforgettable music and fun.

Launching April 2019 in Chicago, HAMILTON: THE EXHIBITION will take visitors deeper into the life and times of Alexander Hamilton through the immersive exhibit featuring a dynamic, interactive mix of in-depth scenography, lighting, sound, multimedia, music, and an audio tour narrated by Mr. Miranda.

Current season ticket holders (2018-2019) will have the opportunity to reserve season tickets for the new 2019-20 season before anyone else. Renewals will be taken from February 11 - March 8*. The five-show subscription package includes: Fiddler on the Roof, The Lion King, Hamilton, Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Escape to Margaritaville. Broadway GR season ticket holders receive the best prices for each show, the opportunity for easy, no-interest payment plans, free lost-ticket replacement, exclusive dining and parking discounts, and the same reserved seats for each show. The 5-show Subscription Series package price ranges from $251 to $584, depending on seating section and performance day and time. The 2019-20 Subscription Series may be renewed by calling 616-235-6285, in person at 122 Lyon Street NW in downtown Grand Rapids, by mail, or using the ONLINE ordering system at www.joinbroadwaygr.com. BGR office hours are 9 to 5 Monday through Thursday, and 9 to 4 on Fridays.
*The subscription renewal deadline for current season ticket holders is Friday, March 8, 2019.
On April 1st at 10:00 AM, Broadway Grand Rapids will begin accepting new season ticket orders in person only at the Broadway GR box office located at 122 Lyon Street NW.
New season tickets orders will be taken online or by phone beginning Monday, April 8. All new season orders will be processed on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability. The last day to purchase 2019-2020 season tickets for new subscribers is April 30, 2019.
