For all who wonder how to advance a career from window washing and mail sorting to chairman of the board, Possum Point Players present the award-winning musical comedy, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." Show dates are April 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14; Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for students and seniors, and may be purchased at www.possumpointplayers.org or the ticketline, 856-4560.

A winner of a Tony Award and a Pulitzer Prize, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" is a satirical, but good natured, jab at life up and down the corporate ladder. The music and lyrics of Frank Loesser and Abe Burrows is featured in a lilting score that includes "I Believe in You," "The Company Way" and "The Brotherhood of Man." Written in an era when big business was a man's world, the script also features secretaries who irreverently see through some of the gamesmanship that makes big wheels look like they really turn.

Of course, mixed in with stereotypical office partying, professional backstabbing and kissing up, there's romance. "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" is directed by John Hulse and Lorraine Steinhoff. For details and a full cast list, visit www.possumpointplayers.org.

"How to succeed in Business Without Really Trying" is produced through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
