Andrea Galata Hits The Stage Of The Chongqing Grand Theatre With Funikijam Original Musical Rhythm Boom Boom

After a successful summer show in Seoul, South Korea, during the Seoul Web Fest, Italian performer Andrea Galata' kicks off 2019 touring in China with the brand new musical by New York very own Funikijam Rhythm Boom Boom, on stage the in the Chongqing Grand Theatre the last week of January.

Rhythm Boom Boom, a world premiere production co-created by Brian Barrentine (Music) & Ken Zang (Book), will showcase the popular songs of FunikiJam Music, penned by Barrentine (starring as Captain Jam) and featured in his and Off-Broadway family musicals (New York Times pick, "7 Things to Do With Your Kids in N.Y.C. This Weekend). In "Rhythm Boom Boom," Captain Jam and The Agents of Jam will invite the audience to embark upon a globe-spanning musical adventure: with a drum in every of the 1,000 seats hosted by the brand new Chongqing Grand Theatre, the audience will play along with the artists, in an entrancing, enthralling experience, journeying from Africa to Australia, Egypt to Europe to the USA, and finally to China through music.

The cast stars Brian Barrentine (Captain Jam, co-creator of the project and founder of Funikijam), Andrea Galata (principal dancer, singer, actor and second drummer), Ryan Radock (from "The Illusionist" on Broadway) and "America's Sweetheart" Ashton Parrack.
