KABC Names Adrianne Anderson Vice President, Marketing

Adrianne Anderson has been named vice president of Marketing at KABC, as announced today by Cheryl Fair, president and general manager, KABC.

In this position, Anderson will oversee brand strategy, creative development, audience engagement initiatives, and non-news content creation across all platforms of the No. 1 local news and information source in Southern California. In her role, she will drive growth for ABC7's brand, channels and business via data-driven content and marketing efforts, audience-based development and design, and high-potential partnership creation. Anderson will also play an integral role in developing and marketing community outreach initiatives.

Previously, Anderson served as KTLA's vice president, Marketing & Creative Services, since 2015, directing all aspects of the station's marketing and advertising initiatives. While overseeing both internal and external branding, promotion and marketing for the station, she also developed, implemented and managed the station's digital and social marketing strategy.

"We are pleased to welcome Adrianne to the abc7 family," said Fair. "Along with her talent and experience, she brings with her a deep appreciation and understanding of the importance of local news and information across all platforms in today's world, as well as the connection abc7 has with the community."

"There's never been a more exciting or challenging time in local television," said Anderson. "I'm truly honored to be joining the innovative team at ABC7!"

Prior to her position at KTLA, Anderson was vice president of Marketing at Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Group where she was responsible for setting integrated media strategies, overseeing all media buying for WB brands and managing media campaigns. During her earlier tenure at Warner Bros. Entertainment, she directed all aspects of strategic development and execution of all marketing initiatives for first-run programming across all consumer access points as vice president of Marketing for Warner Bros. Telepictures Productions. She has also held creative management positions at KTTV and KCOP in Los Angeles, as well as KYW and WCAU in Philadelphia. She started her career at WTVJ in Mami.

An award-winning creative executive, Anderson garnered two Daytime Emmy® Awards for "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" launch campaigns. Having amassed over 20 different entertainment industry awards throughout her career, she has been honored with PROMAX and ADDY awards for her strategic marketing campaigns.

Anderson graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in broadcast communications from Hofstra University and is a PROMAX and NATAS member. She is also the proud mother of 10-year-old twin girls.
