D J McCran Tells the Tale of the Most Haunted House in London D J McCran returns to the publishing scene with the release of "50 Berkeley Square" (published by Partridge Africa in December 2017). Set for a new marketing campaign, the novel follows a journey through the centuries that uncovers the mysteries surrounding the most haunted house in London.

Jim Cartwright, a young employee of the London International Gazette, is mysteriously drawn to a suicide at the infamous ghost house of Berkeley Square. Unware of the true horrors that lie within the walls of the 18th-century, Georgian town house, Jim is forced to take a journey into a strange, new world. He must work out what he has gotten into and why he is experiencing visions from the past.

"I believe we, as people, experience horrific incidents throughout our lives. By reading ghost stories, it offers people a way of looking at horror without actually having to live it - it offers an escape," McCran says, on the book's highlight. "I want readers to enjoy this horror story, visit London and see the place for themselves."
